Student Intern Membership
The Student Intern Membership of the Institute of Finance and Insurance Professionals (IFIP) is designed for university students and aspiring professionals who intend to enter careers in bancassurance, life insurance, or general insurance sales and marketing.
This membership provides full membership status without the requirement to hold an IFIP designation qualification, supporting early professional exposure, personal development, and industry engagement during the initial stages of a professional career.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following educational requirements, subject to Membership Board approval:
- Successful completion of GCE Ordinary Level, including Mathematics and Sinhala or Tamil
- Successful completion of GCE Advanced Level with three (3) passes, or possession of an IFIP Certificate-level qualification
