Students Intern Membership

The Students Intern Membership is designed for university students or individuals seeking to enter professions in bank assurance, life insurance, or general insurance sales and marketing. This membership allows full status without requiring an IFIP designation qualification. To qualify, students must meet the following educational requirements, subject to board approval:

Must have passed GCE Ordinary Level with Mathematics and Sinhala or Tamil.

Must have passed GCE Advanced Level with three passes or hold IFIP Certificate-level qualifications.

Associate Finance Certificate Membership: Offers full membership status without the IFIP certificate qualification. Equivalent to other professional designations or qualifications, subject to approval by the membership board. Does not include eligibility for the free applied academic study or the IFIP Professional Certificate Qualification.

Full membership status without an IFIP designation qualification.

Eligibility for students aiming for a career in insurance and related fields.
Personal development and professional networking opportunities.
Note: This membership does not offer access to free applied academic program study nor the opportunity to earn an IFIP professional qualification.
