Honorary Membership Category
Honorary Membership is conferred upon individuals who have rendered a minimum of three (3) years of dedicated service to the Institute of Finance and Insurance Professionals (IFIP), in recognition of their exceptional commitment, leadership, and contribution to the Institute.
This prestigious membership represents IFIP’s highest form of acknowledgment for individuals whose service has significantly advanced the Institute’s mission, values, and long-term strategic objectives.
Eligibility for Lifetime Honorary Membership
Lifetime Free Honorary Membership may be granted to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:
A minimum of three (3) years of active and continuous service with IFIP in any capacity, including but not limited to leadership roles, committee participation, advisory functions, or organizational support
Demonstrated outstanding contributions to IFIP’s mission, such as mentorship, professional development, research, policy advocacy, governance support, or strategic development initiatives
Formal approval by the IFIP Membership Board, following a review of the individual’s service record, contributions, and overall impact on IFIP’s objectives
Benefits of Honorary Membership
Honorary Members are entitled to the following privileges:
- Lifetime IFIP Membership with no admission or renewal fees
- Formal recognition as a Distinguished Member of the IFIP community
- Recognition in official IFIP communications, events, and ceremonies
