CMI- UK Recognised Diploma Qualification
Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management – Dip in IRM®
- Sri Lankan Students: LKR 60,000 + Admission Fee: LKR 5,000
- International Students: USD 450 + Admission Fee: USD 25
Purpose of the Qualification
The Diploma Qualification develops advanced technical competence, risk assessment capability, and supervisory effectiveness for professionals progressing toward leadership or specialist roles in general insurance.
Programme Structure
- Mode of Study: Online learning
- Curriculum Coverage: 8 core modules (48 learning units)
- Programme Duration: 6 months to 12 months

Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Minimum one year of relevant industry experience
- GCE Ordinary Level with Mathematics and Sinhala or Tamil and GCE Advanced Level with three passes
- IFIP Certificate-level qualification or an equivalent recognised award
Assessment & Completion Requirements
To achieve the Diploma Qualification, candidates must:
- Successfully complete all eight core modules
- Submit one assessed assignment (marketing-based or practice-based)
- Pass the final online examination
