Purpose of the Qualification
The CPIM® CMI-UK Designation represents advanced professional mastery in
insurance leadership and management, demonstrating strategic leadership capability,
organisational effectiveness, and ethical management practice aligned with international
professional standards.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Minimum four years of relevant industry experience
- GCE Ordinary Level with Mathematics and Sinhala or Tamil and GCE Advanced Level with three passes
- IFIP Diploma-level qualification or an equivalent recognised professional or academic qualification
Assessment & Completion Requirements
To be awarded the CPIM® CMI-UK Designation, candidates must:
- Successfully complete all twelve core modules
- Submit one assessed assignment (leadership and management–based or practice-based)
- Pass the final online examination
- Complete a face-to-face Education Board Assessment and Leadership Capstone Workshop
- The Capstone Workshop is a three-day professional development
