For whom is this qualification suitable?
Suitable for: senior insurance agents, financial advisors, team leaders,
managers, and university students in their final year seeking leadership and
management positions.
Entry Requirements:
> Practicing licensed insurance agents and financial advisors with over five years
of experience.
> Team leaders and managers with over three years of experience.
> Individuals aiming to demonstrate and enhance their practical professional
expertise with a diploma, advanced diploma, or higher-level qualifications
accepted by an educational body. (Students must have passed the GCE
Ordinary Level with Mathematics and Sinhala or Tamil and the GCE Advanced
Level with three passes or hold IFIP Designation-level qualifications.).
> Insurance employees looking to progress from leadership and management
professionals or academic qualifications.
> University students in their final year and those applying for positions in
bancassurance, life, or general insurance sales or marketing leadership and
management positions.
> Hold IFIP Master Designation-level membership or an equivalent qualification.
To earn the Master Leadership and Management Master Designation Qualification, members must:
01) Complete: Sixteen main (96 subtopics) required online courses.
02) Submit: An assignment (Leadership and Management Base or Practical
Assignment)
03) Pass: An online exam
- For Leadership Path Master Designation holders, completion of the face-to-face Education Board assessment and Leadership Capstone workshop is required. The workshop is a 3-night, 4-day event. The cost will be minimal for the member.
