> Mode: Online Study: Twelve main (72 subtopics) course curriculum
> Duration: 12 months to 24 months
> Study Hours:800 hours of online classes + 400 practical hours
For whom is this qualification suitable?
Appropriate for: seasoned insurance agents, financial advisors, team leaders,
managers, and second-year university students seeking relevant positions.
Entry Requirements:
> Practicing licensed insurance agents and financial advisors with over two years
of experience.
> Team leaders and managers with more than two years of experience.
> Insurance employees seeking to advance from professional insurance or
academic qualifications.
> Third-year university students and those applying for positions in bancassurance,
life, or general insurance sales or marketing.
> Individuals aiming to demonstrate and enhance their practical professional
expertise with certificates, advanced diplomas, or higher-level qualifications
accepted by an educational body. (Students must have passed the GCE
Ordinary Level with Mathematics and Sinhala or Tamil and the GCE Advanced
Level with three passes or hold IFIP Diploma-level qualifications.)
> Hold IFIP Designation-level membership or an equivalent qualification.
To earn the Designation Qualification, members must:
01) Complete: Twelve main (72 subtopics) required online courses.
02) Submit: An assignment (Marketing Base or Practical Assignment)
03) Pass: An online exam
For Individual Path designation holders, completion of the face-to-face Education Board assessment and Career Development Conference (CDC) is required. The CDC is a 2-day workshop, and the cost will be minimal for the member.
