Course Details:
> Mode: Online Study: Twelve main (72 subtopics) course curriculum
> Duration: 12 months to 24 months
> Study Hours: 800 hours of online classes + 400 practical hours
For whom is this qualification suitable?
Suitable for: seasoned insurance agents, financial advisors, team leaders,
managers, and university students in their 2nd year seeking leadership and
management positions.
Entry Requirements:
> Practicing licensed insurance agents and financial advisors with over four years of experience..
> Team leaders and managers with over two years of experience.
> Individuals aiming to demonstrate and enhance their practical professional
leadership and management expertise with certificates, advanced diplomas, or
higher-level qualifications accepted by an educational body. (Students must have
passed the GCE Ordinary Level with Mathematics and Sinhala or Tamil and the
GCE Advanced Level with three passes or hold IFIP Diploma-level
qualifications.)
> Insurance employees looking to progress from leadership and management
professionals or academic qualifications.
> University students in their 2nd year and those applying for positions in
bancassurance, life, or general insurance sales or marketing leadership and
management positions.
> Hold IFIP Leadership and Management Designation-level membership or an
equivalent qualification.
To earn the Leadership and Management Designation qualification, members must:
01) Complete: Twelve main (72 subtopics) required online courses.
02) Submit: An assignment (Leadership and Management Base or Practical
Assignment)
03) Pass: An online exam
- For Leadership Path designation holders, completion of the face-to-face Education Board assessment and Leadership Capstone workshop is required. The workshop is a 2-day event. (The cost will be minimal for the member.)
